President, Melissa Wyzard:
"My name is Melissa Wyzard, Founder & President of Heavenly Meadows. Heavenly Meadows has been a long time in the making. Horses have always been a passion of mine. My mother said that ‘horse’ was my first word! I love ALL animals but horses are my true love! Luckily I married a tolerant, loving man who supports my passion for horses. My husband Chuck and I, along with our 3 children, run the day-to-day operations of Heavenly Meadows. However, without the officers and board of directors Heavenly Meadows would not be the incredible organization it has become, and is still becoming. We are proud to say we are a Christian organization. We have attended Northstar Church in Panama City, FL for the past 5 years. Visit us at www.NorthstarPC.org. May God Bless you all!"

Board Member, Linda Shields:
"Rescuing animals has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. My father was always bringing home the orphaned baby squirrel, the abandoned duckling, the 2 babies skunks whose mamma was hit by a car, the baby bird that fell out of it's nest, the turtle, the goose, the kitten, the dog...They all were welcomed in our home, which became a mini wildlife rehab center. Then to my delight, one day he brought home a pony. She had been severely malnourished & mistreated at a roadside circus. With much love & attention she flourished. I have continued on with the "family tradition" of rescues. In addition to my 3 parrots, 3 cats, 3 dogs and 1 very tolerant husband, I have two horses. One is an Appaloosa which I rescued locally from a neglect situation, and the other is a BLM Mustang that I adopted from Heavenly Meadows where Melissa worked wonders on gentling this beautiful symbol of our national heritage!"
