fees

For horses at HMHR ONLY:

First Time Application Fee -For horses at HMHR only-(Non-Refundable) - $50.00 Any adoption after the 1st One (Non-Refundable) - $10.00

For all horses listed on our site:

Adoption Fee – Listed under the horse/foal.
Shipping Fee – To be determined with each adoption.
Drop Point Fee (Any horse dropped off at Heavenly Meadows) - $30 per horse
Health Certificate (If needed) - $20-$80 (Varies depending if there is a farm call fee or not.)

NOTE: The application fees are made payable to Heavenly Meadows Horse Rescue, the drop point fee made payable to Melissa Wyzard, the shipping fees will be paid to the hauler and the adoption fee will be made to the appropriate farm/person. These fees are all separate!!!

IMPORTANT - Heavenly Meadows does NOT make any type of commission/finder's fee on the horses adopted from one of the PMU farms or private person listed on Heavenly Meadows website. When you adopt a horse that is on our site from a particular farm or individual your adoption fee is paid directly to them. The only fee we collect is our small application/filing fee for horses we are personally adopting out. The adoption fee you pay for any horse here at HMHR is simply to try and reimburse HMHR for the vet/farrier/feed/hay we put into that horse. Please do not confuse us with others you might find on the internet. We are NOT brokers. We are simply trying to help horses find a loving home rather than to go to auction. We ask for nothing from these farms/individuals. The joy of knowing that the horses are in a loving home rather than an unspeakable fate is 'payment' enough!!
